Our Facials Course is designed for those looking to offer basic but effective facial skincare treatments to clients from home and/or mobile, teaching both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to competently perform an effective express facial treatment. You will cover the essential skills to effectively cleanse, tone, exfoliate, apply mask and moisturise your client’s skin. Not only this, you will learn a basic pressure point massage to add value for money to your facial skincare treatments.

Course structure

This course is structured over one day and runs from 10am – 4pm. We ask students to arrive at 9.45am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the basic theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch. You will give and receive treatments as part of the course and must be prepared to remove your make-up during the course. We do recommend you spend doing approximately 8 hours of home study prior the course. A manual will be sent to you once full payment is received.

Facial skincare treatments are hugely popular with a diverse range of clients, all looking to improve the condition and appearance of their skin. This course will teach you the essential skills to offer an Express Facial skincare treatment to your clients to cover the key techniques to deliver a therapeutic treatment to bring an improvement in the appearance and condition of the skin. Following the course, you will be able to provide a professional Express facial skincare treatment working from home and mobile. It is also an ideal course to quickly learn new skills or refresh your knowledge of facial treatments for existing therapists.

Course entry requirements

Our diploma courses are suitable for complete beginners and do not require any prior learning to be able to train with us; many of our students are not yet beauty trained and are looking to start up a business in the industry. We welcome students of all abilities, whether you are looking to learn a new skill from scratch or currently working as a therapist and looking to refresh your knowledge of particular treatments.

Please note you will be required to give and receive treatments as part of the course and therefore will need to remove your make-up during the course. Students must not have undergone cosmetic procedures including skin fillers within the 12 weeks prior to the course.

One the of the course you may bring in lunch as cold food for your lunch (e.g. sandwich/salad). Tea & coffee are provided on the day.

What qualification will you receive?

When you have successfully completed your training course(s), you will receive a certificate issued by The Vspa Training Academy and accredited by professional Beauty Direct. This not only demonstrates your commitment to the training, but also allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients from home or mobile.

Kit: £68.00

Includes Eye Make up remover, Cleanser, Toner, Exfoliator, Mask, Moisturiser, cotton pads, face oil and massage oil and tissues. All you require to complete a facial treatment.

You may pay a deposit upon booking the course, however the remaining balance is due 2 weeks before your course. The remaining balance will be invoiced to you paypal.

Starter Kits

You will be using your own starter kit on the day of your training.

Selected starter kits are available for our students to purchase through our website. The starter kit contents  also give you some idea of the minimum basic items you will require, however there may be additional items you will look to add beyond the starter kit(s) once you begin practising to enhance your treatments. Kit orders will only be processed where the student has already booked or attended to complete the relevant training course with Vspa Academy, as we provide kits only for the purposes of training, practice and gaining qualifications to our own students. Orders from those who have not completed training with us may be refused and result in cancellation / refund of the kit fee paid.

Kits will be given to you on the day of training.

All kit shortages or damages should inform your tutor on the day of your course.

If you fail to attend the course and have paid for the course in full aswell as your kit, we can ship your kit for £5.00 postage and package fee.
