This course does not include a kit. A kit is required. You must pick option one or option two. Option one contains just the oil while option two will also provide you with a Hot Stones Heater

Our Hot Stone Therapy Massage course will teach you the effective and healing massage that is used by many as a treatment for a variety of ailments, both mental and physical. Not only will you learn how to competently perform the treatment adhering to your client’s specific needs, you will also learn its history in relieving muscle-tension and the purpose of hot stones within massage.

Course structure
This course is structured over one day and runs from 10am – 4pm. We ask students to arrive at 9.45am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch. You will give and receive treatments as part of this course.
Course benefits
Hot stone therapy uses heated-stone placement to relax and heat the body, allowing the therapist to work deeper into the muscles to relieve tension. Using a range of hot volcanic basalt stones, you will learn how to provide a deeply relaxing treatment which works on a mental, physical and spiritual level for your clients. The combination of heat and deep pressure results in relief of muscular tension, with minimal effort from the therapist, and this consequently can diffuse aches and pains. Following the course, you will be able to provide this deep massage working as a massage therapist from home and mobile.
Course entry requirements
Before booking onto this course, you are required to have completed our Spa Body Massage course; or have completed similar level training with an alternative provider. This is to ensure you have the required level of knowledge of massage techniques in order to get the most from this 1 day course. We welcome students of all abilities, whether you are looking to learn a new skill from scratch or currently working as a therapist and looking to refresh your knowledge of particular treatments.
All products and tools are provided for the training day at the centre when you attend. No kit is required to complete the training day, nor included in the course fee. On the training day, you only need to bring a hand and bath towel for your personal use, completed enrolment form and cold food for your lunch (e.g. sandwich/salad). Tea and cold drinks provided on the day.

You may pay a deposit upon booking the course, however the remaining balance is due 2 weeks before your course. The remaining balance will be invoiced to you paypal.

Starter Kits
You will be using your own starter kit on the day of your training.
Selected starter kits are available for our students to purchase through our website. The starter kit contents also give you some idea of the minimum basic items you will require, however there may be additional items you will look to add beyond the starter kit(s) once you begin practising to enhance your treatments. Kit orders will only be processed where the student has already booked or attended to complete the relevant training course with Vspa Academy, as we provide kits only for the purposes of training, practice and gaining qualifications to our own students. Orders from those who have not completed training with us may be refused and result in cancellation / refund of the kit fee paid.
Kits will be giving to you on the day of training.
All kit shortages or damages should inform your tutor on the day of your course.
If you fail to attend the course and have paid for the course in full aswell as your kit, we can ship your kit for £5.00 postage and package fee.
